In this case, implant installation on the maxilla in conditions of limited bone proposal at the bottom of the sinus significantly improves the patient’s quality of life. It was planned to place implants in positions 24 and 27 and subsequent prosthetics using a bridge structure.
In 24 position the space is limited by the root of the 23 tooth and the sinus bottom. Sinus-lifting is planned. In position 27, an anatomical protrusion is used to install the implant, allowing the 4.5 x 7.5 mm implant to be fully placed.
A surgical guide for pilot drilling was used.
Control CT confirms the accuracy of implant placement in relation to the planned position.
At position 27, there is an insignificant displacement of the implant caused by the peculiarities of the bone and the protocol used.
For planning, a free ImplaStation software was used. The case is provided by the partner of the Prodigident company.
