IMMEDIATE IMPLANTATION IN A LIMITED BONE SUPPLY

A nonresident patient came to the clinic with a metal-ceramic 14-17 bridge with a support for 14 and 17 teeth.

The supporting teeth were mobile. The patient set aside 6 days for treatment. It was decided to remove the supporting teeth with the immediate implant installation. It was planned the implant installation in the 14 and 17 area.

Complicating factors  for the implant installation:

  • a limited bone supply;
  • in 14 position – a short distance to the root 13, the bottom of the sinus;
  • in 17 position – a small height of the ridge (it was used  the 6.0 x 7 implant);
  • friable bone, patch density

A surgical guide was planned preliminarily.

The control CT confirms the match of the actual implant position with the planned one.

To plan implantation and to create surgical guides free ImplaStation software was used. Implants CWM INNO submerged and universal surgical toolkit for guided surgery ProDigiDent were also used. The surgical guide was printed on a 3D Formlabs2 printer.
